I would like to grow some more roses around my garden. I am thinking to do the cutting from my existing plant. Anybody can give me an advice where to cut them?
cut a piece that has already flowered and below a node as that is where the new roots will come from. I generally do mine when I am pruning in the winter but you can try any time.It is also a good idea to use rooting hormone available at garden centers. My neighbour gave me some cuttings about a month or so ago and they already have roots. Some roses grow more readily from cuttings than others. Hybrid teas are much harder than most.
